How We Test

This page explains how Copenhagen Bikes USA evaluates products and information when creating guides and recommendations for urban and city bicycles.

Our Approach

We focus on criteria that matter for everyday riders: frame design and fit, component quality, weight where relevant, intended use, and value. We use manufacturer specifications, reputable third-party reviews, and when possible hands-on experience or expert input. We do not fabricate test results or ratings.

What We Don’t Do

We do not invent aggregate ratings, fake reviews, or “expert recommended” badges. We do not claim that a product is “tested” in a lab or by a panel unless we clearly describe the methodology. When we compare products, we state the basis of comparison (e.g., specs, category, use case).

Transparency

When we have affiliate relationships with retailers we link to, we disclose that in our Affiliate Disclosure. Our Editorial Policy describes our commitment to independent, balanced content.

Updates

Product lines and availability change. We update our content periodically; for the latest details, always check the brand or retailer.
